Change a decision's settings

In shortDecision settings holds the decision's folder, whether contributors see each other's names, who can open it, and the danger zone.

Decision settings is the last entry in a decision's menu. Everyone who can open the decision can read it. People who can edit the decision change it; for everyone else the rows are read-only, each with a padlock and the reason.

What you can set

  • Folder says where the decision is filed. Once it is committed, the people who can open its folder can read it.
  • Names visible to decides whether contributors see who said what or read each other anonymously. The decision's owner sets it, and it is fixed once people have answered, so everyone keeps the arrangement they answered under.
  • Who can open this draft shows who has access to a decision in progress, with a link to see them in People and a button to manage access. On a committed decision this row says who can read it: the folder, plus the people it was shared with while in progress.

The published brief is not a setting: it lives in People, under Publication, once the decision is committed. See Decided and Published.

The danger zone

Move to Trash removes a draft from everyone's workspace. It is hard to undo, so it asks you to confirm. You can restore the draft from Trash.
