Help · Your decision

See where a decision stands

In shortThe status view says where the decision is, what is missing and what to do next, and lets you catch up on what changed since you last looked.

Every decision has one page. The sections on the left start with Status & activity, which tells you where things stand, then People and Review. Below them, the steps of the method follow, from the Decision type and the Frame onwards.

The statuses

Every decision carries one of these chips, in the inbox and on its card:

In progressA draft: framed, assessed, heardCommittedLocked, with review datesResolvedRetiredResolved at a review, or quit with a reason

Read the status

At the top, one sentence says where the decision is: which section it has reached, or, once committed, what was decided and what is being watched. Below it, a few tabs.

  • Next names the one thing worth doing now, with a button that takes you there.
  • What's missing lists the open work on a decision in progress, and What needs doing on a committed one. Each item says whose it is: yours, waiting on someone, or on watch. Each one links to the place on the record where you close it.
  • Catch up shows the decision's activity.

When nothing is open, the status says so, and a decision in progress can be committed.

Catch up on activity

  • New to you lists what happened since you last looked: answers, edits, calls, the lock.
  • All activity keeps the full history.
  • Mark shown as seen clears the list once you have read it. It changes nothing on the decision itself.
  • The refresh button fetches anything new.

What you see follows what you are allowed to read. A who has not answered yet does not see other people's answers here either.

Move around the decision

Choose any section on the left to open it. The address changes with the section, so you can share a link that opens a colleague on the same place.
