The Hearing is part of every . It comes after the and before the Commitment, and it asks one question: can you answer the case against the path you are about to take?
Open the hearing
- Choose the path you lean toward. The hearing attacks that path.
- What the record says against the path appears once you have chosen it, as the first part of the hearing.
- Your choice stays open, and you still pick the path when you commit.
- Midfire argues the case from the record in about 15 seconds.
Work through its three parts
The hearing reads like the Frame, one part at a time, each with its own chip.
- What's open lists what the record already says against the path: claims with no call, answers that disagree, documents that point the other way. Each finding has a link to the place where you do the work. Only you and the editors see this part.
- The case against is the strongest argument against the path, point by point, the most critical first. When a point names a risk the conditions miss, add it as a condition in one click. Once the record has moved, refresh the case to have it argued again.
- The strongest alternative shows what the record says in favour of the best rival path. Add its advantage in your own words, then name the trade-off that decides your choice.
Give your ruling
Under the three parts, your ruling offers two choices.
- Keep working saves where you are. The hearing stays open for more work.
- Proceed to Commit records your ruling and takes you to the Commitment.
If critical claims are still open when you proceed, Midfire asks for one line on why. That line goes on the record with the ruling, so anyone who reads the decision later can see what you knew and chose to accept.
