Set your name, notifications and look

In shortYour own settings control how colleagues see you, which committed decisions reach your inbox, how Midfire looks and how much it drafts.

The You group in Settings holds what belongs to you alone.

Your name

In Profile, set the name your colleagues see on decisions and input. New input you give carries it. Your email is the address you sign in with.

Notifications

Notifications decides which committed decisions reach you by email, folder by folder.

  • For each folder, choose All decisions, Decisions I'm part of, or None.
  • Then choose One email each, a Daily digest or a Weekly digest.
  • "For new folders" sets what you get when you join a folder, and you can apply it to all your folders at once.
  • A weekly note about your drafts tells you when colleagues answer on decisions you are making, or when a draft has waited a week. It never arrives when nothing is waiting.

Some emails always come one by one, whatever you choose: requests for your view, a decision in progress shared with you, reviews you are due to run, invitations and sign-in links. You never hear about a decision you cannot open.

Appearance

Appearance offers three palettes and Match system, which follows your device's light or dark setting. Your choice is saved to your account, so every device you sign in on uses it.

Drafting

Drafting sets how much detail Midfire keeps when it drafts, with one level for everyday decisions and one for :

  • Minimal keeps the critical conditions.
  • Standard adds the major ones.
  • Full adds the minor ones too.

Everyday decisions start at Minimal and big bets at Standard. Conditions already on a decision stay, and anything folded is one click away.
