Move a draft to Trash and restore it

In shortA draft you created can go to Trash and come back within 30 days, with every contribution kept.

A draft you no longer need can go to Trash. It disappears from everyone's workspace and stays recoverable for 30 days.

Move a draft to Trash

  1. Open the decision and go to Decision settings.
  2. Under Danger zone, select Move to Trash.
  3. Confirm. The draft and its contributions become unavailable to everyone, and unsaved edits in your browser are discarded.

Only drafts go to Trash, and only the person who created the draft, while they can still edit it. A committed decision stays on the record.

Restore it

  1. Open Trash from the rail. It lists the drafts you created, with the date each one must be restored by.
  2. Select Restore on the draft you want back.

A restored draft keeps the answers and input your colleagues gave, and access follows today's permissions. Emails that were cancelled when it went to Trash are not sent again.

After 30 days

Once the recovery period ends, the draft is marked as awaiting removal and is then deleted for good. To keep a copy of a draft, restore it and export your decisions before the date shown.
