Company context is three documents Midfire reads whenever it drafts for a decision: Company, Strategy and Competition. With them, the frame, the paths and the are written for your business rather than for any business.
Where it comes from
- When you name your workspace with a company website, Midfire reads the site in the background and drafts the three documents from it.
- You can add more at any time with Add material: your website, a document, or a few words of your own. Any one of the three is enough.
- Midfire drafts from what you give it. Nothing is saved until you review it.
Review a draft
- A red dot on Company context in the rail means a draft is waiting.
- Review each document and correct anything it got wrong. Points marked new are what changed.
- Approve each document at its foot. Until you do, your decisions already use the draft, so a first decision never waits for the review.
- Start over clears the unsaved drafts and begins again. Documents you have saved stay saved.
Edit what is saved
Each part of a saved document edits on its own, in place. Change a line, save it, and the next decision Midfire drafts reads the new version.
Who can do what
- Every member can read the company context.
- An Editor or a workspace admin can add material, review drafts and edit the documents.
Keep it short and current. A few sharp lines on what you do, who you serve and who you compete with help more than a long history.
