Your account's first workspace starts with 3 free decisions. No card is needed, and the trial has no end date.
When a decision counts
A decision counts once Midfire first drafts its , for a and an everyday decision alike. Writing a decision, framing it and listing its paths cost nothing. Deleting a decision does not give its place back.
The New decision pane shows how many free decisions are left.
AI help in the trial
Midfire's drafting and checking (framing, paths and conditions, the hearing, document checks) run on a trial allowance of $5 a day and $10 in total. A typical decision uses a small part of it.
- When the day's allowance is reached, AI help pauses and resumes at midnight UTC.
- When the total is used, AI help pauses until the workspace has seats.
What keeps working
Everything you do yourself keeps working at every point of the trial:
- writing and editing your decisions;
- answering conditions, and the call on each one;
- committing, reviewing and exporting.
Your trial decisions stay open for as long as you need them, and so does everything your colleagues contributed.
After the trial
Once the free decisions are used, you can keep working on them, and a workspace admin can add seats in Seats and billing to start new decisions. See seats and billing for how a subscription works.
Each account has one free trial, used in one workspace.
When the free decisions are used, the New decision pane may also show a short note from Greg, who builds Midfire, asking what would make Midfire worth paying for. Answering is up to you, and No thanks closes it for good.
